Tom was born in Dumfries but has lived in Ayrshire since 1974.

He began his engineering career with SSEB and subsequently Scottish Power, becoming a Senior Manager prior to his retirement.


Brian Whittle

MSP for South Scotland

Brian Whittle was born in 1964 and grew up in Troon. After attending Marr College, Kilmarnock College and Glasgow University he began a career as an industrial chemist working for ICI at Ardeer.

Caroline is a native of Ayr and lives locally. Her experience has encompassed a career in midwifery and psychology that spans 34 years. She currently works as a Professor in Maternal Health within the School of Health and Social Care at Edinburgh Napier University.
